GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

International Journal of Nature and Environmental Research (IJNER) is an international, peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research that advances knowledge in environmental sciences, natural sciences, ecology, sustainability, climate change, and related interdisciplinary fields. Authors are encouraged to carefully read the following guidelines before submitting their manuscripts.

Manuscript Submission

Authors must submit original, unpublished manuscripts that are not under consideration by any other journal or publisher. Simultaneous submission to multiple journals is strictly prohibited. All submissions must represent significant scientific contributions and comply with international standards of academic integrity.

Manuscript Preparation

Authors should prepare manuscripts using the following format:

  • Language: English
  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Paper Size: A4
  • Margins: 2.54 cm (1 inch)
  • Page Numbers: Consecutively numbered

The manuscript should be arranged in the following order:

Title → Authors → Affiliations → Abstract → Keywords → Introduction → Materials and Methods → Results → Discussion → Conclusion → Acknowledgements → Funding Statement → Conflict of Interest → References

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should be between 200–300 words and clearly describe the objectives, methodology, principal findings, and conclusions of the study. Authors should provide 4–6 keywords that accurately reflect the content of the manuscript.

Ethical Standards

IJNER follows internationally accepted principles of publication ethics. Authors must ensure that:

  • The submitted work is entirely original.
  • All sources are appropriately cited.
  • Data are accurate and have not been fabricated or manipulated.
  • Ethical approval has been obtained where applicable.
  • All listed authors have made substantial scientific contributions.

Any form of plagiarism, duplicate publication, image manipulation, or data falsification constitutes scientific misconduct and may result in immediate rejection or retraction.

Plagiarism Screening

All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before peer review. Manuscripts showing unacceptable similarity or unethical publication practices will not proceed to the review stage.

Peer Review Policy

IJNER operates a Double-Blind Peer Review system. Each manuscript is evaluated by independent experts based on originality, scientific quality, methodology, significance, clarity, and relevance to the journal's scope. The Editorial Board reserves the right to accept, request revisions, or reject submissions based on reviewers' recommendations.

References

Authors should use the APA (7th Edition) citation and referencing style unless otherwise stated. Every reference cited in the text must appear in the reference list.

Copyright and Author Responsibility

Authors retain responsibility for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their work. Submission to IJNER confirms that all authors have approved the manuscript and agree with its submission. Upon acceptance, the article will be published according to the journal's copyright and licensing policy.

Final Decision

The Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the Editorial Board, makes the final publication decision after considering reviewers' comments, editorial assessment, ethical compliance, and the scientific merit of the manuscript.
